Republican Candidate Promises to Focus on Finding Solutions and Ensuring Citizens Have a Voice in the Growth of Gwinnett County.

JAN. 10, 2010, NORCROSS, GA … Citing the need to help move Gwinnett County in a positive direction and give the citizens a greater voice about the future of Gwinnett, Lynette Howard is seeking the office of District 2 Gwinnett County Commissioner, currently held by Bert Nasuti who decided not to seek re-election.

“Ken and I have known Lynette as a friend and neighbor for many years.  The fact that Lynette has served this community in a volunteer capacity for many years (as President of United Peachtree Corners Civic Association for 6 years) and as  a planning commissioner for the last 3 years means a lot to us.  Lynette has proven herself by her hands-on active involvement in solving difficult zoning problems and other community issues.  Being a commissioner is a difficult job.  Lynette clearly has the dedication to serve, the experience, the right temperament and skills to be a very effective, even-handed commissioner.  She has our whole-hearted support!” support

“Lynette puts the needs of the community ahead of her own.  She will fight for the right choice and not the popular one.  Lynette is a dynamic leader who will make Gwinnett a better place for all.” all

“I’ve known Lynette for 15 years working with her in many volunteer activities.  I have watched her grow into the remarkable woman she is today.  Her opinions and decisions are marked with the warmth of a mother and the intellect of a scientist.  She always does her homework on every issue she tackles.  How could I say no to someone with this kind of character?  I am proud to be her Campaign Chairman!” chairman

“I had the pleasure of working with Lynette for 8 years.  Her work ethic and enthusiasm never waned and she met each day with vigor and determination to make every moment count in the lives of her students.  Now I have a deeper honor of knowing her as a friend and have seen her succeed in her civic endeavors, which she meets with the same positive attitude, integrity, and good humor I have come to depend upon in an often negative world.  I am grateful that Lynette is willing to work for the good of our community.” community

“Lynette always ask ‘Why not?’, rather than ‘Why?’  Who can’t support someone like that?” that
