Today Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter endorsed Lynette Howard for the District 2 County Commissioner’s seat.  Porter said:

“I believe Lynette Howard is the kind of person that we need representing Gwinnett County right now.  She is not a politician, but a genuine community spirited, public servant who can be trusted to listen and put the people’s interest ahead of her own.  She understands the role public safety plays in attracting employers, assuring educational achievement, and maintaining our quality of life.  I can give her no stronger endorsement.”

Howard has been a community leader in Peachtree Corners for the past 16 years serving as the six-time President of the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association.  She has also served as a District 2 Planning Commissioner for the past 3 years.

Neighbor Testimonial

  • "I’ve known Lynette for 15 years working with her in many volunteer activities.  I have watched her grow into the remarkable woman she is today.  Her opinions and decisions are marked with the warmth of a mother and the intellect of a scientist.  She always does her homework on every issue she tackles.  How could I say no to someone with this kind of character?  I am proud to be her Campaign Chairman!""
